This care shampoo with high-quality ingredients gently cares for your horse's coat and thoroughly cleans at the same time. Effol Horse Shampoo has a refreshing scent and its revitalizing properties will please both you and your horse.

Moreover, this shampoo keeps the hair structure of your horse's coat intact and does not strip oils from the coat or skin. This means, your horse's coat will be healthy and shiny after each bath.

How to Wash Your Horse's Coat

  1. Dilute 1 cap of Effol Horse Shampoo in 1 quart of warm water, creating a sudsy liquid. Double the amount of shampoo and water for large horses.
  2. Wet your horse all over with a hose and tepid water.
  3. Use a sponge or the Haas sponge brush to distribute the sudsy liquid and work the suds into the coat.
  4. Thoroughly rinse the horse with a hose with tepid water until the water runs clear.
  5. Follow up with a sweat scraper to remove excess water.
  6. Allow the horse to dry, then brush with a dandy brush, followed by a body brush.
