Absolutely love this brush for shedding! I typically use the Haas New Generation curry combined with the Haas Mustang brush (also a brass bristle brush) to shed my horse out because she is very sensitive and finds the typical shedding brushes to be too harsh. I tried this one to see how it compared and it is so much better than the Mustang brush. I mean just look at the pile of hair I got from those two in just one session! The bristles are nicely spaced which allows the hair to go down further in the brush but also makes it easy to pull off the hair and continue brushing. With the Haas brush the hair just gets stuck on top making it less effective and I have to use the curry comb to get it out, the whole process just takes longer. It just doesn't compare to the Curly brush by Horsehaus!
